The prospects for cooperation with the banking sector have been discussed
Kenneth Angell, Managing Director of the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Armenia were hosted at the Union of banks of Armenia as part of the cooperation framework established between the UBA and DFC.
Welcoming the guests, UBA President Daniel Azatyan underlined the importance of expanding the Union's cooperation with DFC, highlighting its role in supporting financial institutions, particularly in providing access to finance for small businesses through commercial banks.
During the meeting with the participation of representatives of commercial banks, Kenneth Angell presented the mission of the Corporation, its main supporting tools, and upcoming programs. The prospects for cooperation with commercial banks were also discussed.
